Artist's Comments

I've shot this scene before, but after learning a little more about white balance when shooting Infrared Captures, I decided to go back and see what I could get with my newly found techniques. It looks pretty cool in Grayscale, but since I already have some Grayscale images of this scene, I thought this might be something different, just for fun. This is a basic Infrared Capture with a custom White Balance Setting using a technique passed along from . Thanks again, Michael. Manipulations performed to this image were noise reduction, contrast enhancement and Red and Blue channel adjustments using the Channel Mixer.

Thanks! I appreciate your kind remarks. I know you'll be able to do it, and I still believe that your current camera and lenses will get good results. We just have to figure out what's going on with that bright spot. Thanks again!

:faint: Holy smoke stack! Words will not describe how much I love this one Dan. I absolutely love the colour for this image, to me it really enhances the impact of it. This one has a bit of everything - the sky, the smoke, the stack, the trees and the reflection in the water - just brilliant.
