A gift for you to read, I can only hope you enjoy the sight I try to create with words alone.

Fall splendorous Fall

Each year when the sun fails to fill the air, with the warmth and full light of summer.

There comes a time when through some mystical part of science and chlorophyll loss.

There comes a moment when each leaf of every tree allows a time of Splendour.

Crimson, gold, yellow, reds, so bright that it tells the littlest birds we call the hummer’s.

Beginning their journey to the south to follow the elusive sweet nectar or summer bloom.

To South America they will fly, but this story will not follow as we watch the colours.

The air becomes crisp and days filled with a wondrous air of changes to come to soon.

This is when in the evening you hear the loneliness of the distant call of the loon.

The rustle of the air sends the creatures of the woods to fill their hearts with love.

Often if you listen close, you can hear their rut like something gone crashing through.

When you walk in the woods early you can see a slight frost in the meadows.

Just a glint of light reflecting from some beautiful complex design from simple water.

You can see the beaver trying to fill his stores with food harassed by an otter.

You may see a hare changing from brown to grey to white during early night.

Maybe an owl just taking to wing with his flight for the hunt for a mouse or a mole.

Or a passing person hearing you as you pass some point on your way.

But all this happens to trees filled with what gives us all a great wonder.

The colours, which fill our souls with heart filled ponderings of what, must come.

The end of summer as it now sinks in that our fall has begun.

When we all think of thing, which brings us all to fall splendorous, fall.
